The Origin of Hawaiian Pizza
Hawaiian Pizza was invented in the little village of Chatham, Ontario, Canada. Hawaiin pizza was founded by Sam Panopoulos who is a restaurant owner and chef, has been known as “The Father of the Hawaiian Pizza” for his restaurant, Satellite Restaurant. The Satellite Restaurant began by serving American dishes such as cheeseburgers, but by the 1960s, they had expanded their menu to include Chinese-American cuisine and, later, pizza.
Hawaiian Pizza swiftly spread across North America, with its unusual Canadian origins, and can now be found in many pizzerias and frozen food aisles. Despite the fact that Hawaiian pizza is expanded in popularity after its origins in Canada, the division between fans and detractors of pineapple pizza grew quickly.

Water
Warm water is used for the preparation of the pizza. It means water should be not hot and not cold.
Sugar
Sugar is added for the feed of the yeast, not for the sweetness of the pizza. And also it helps for the growth of yeast and the nurture of the bread.
Oil
Various oils can be used for the pizza. Vegetable oil, olive oil are the preferable oils. Oil is added for the function of growing yeast and the developing flavor. It is also used to brush the edges. It gives the crispy texture of the edges.

Cheese

Hawaiian Pizza
Ingredients
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- Salt
- ¾ tsp Yeast
- ¾ cups Warm Water
- 2 tbsp Olive oil/Coconut oil
- Pizza Sauce
- Mozzarella Cheese
- 4 tsp Oregano
- chicken/pork/sausages/any meat pieces
- Pineapple Pieces
- Onion Strips
- Bell Pepper Pieces
- Black Olives
Instructions
- Take a bowl and add flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
- Then, mix well them.
- Next, add warm water and 1 tbsp of olive oil to it.
- Then, again mix well.
- Knead the dough until it is soft and elastic. (For 5 minutes)
- Then, take another bowl and grease with olive oil.
- Place the dough in greased bowl and covered with oil.
- Then, cover the bowl and place it for 2 hours to doubled in size.
- After 2 hours, take the pizza pan and place the dough on it.
- Next, strech it. (If you want you can use a rolling pin)
- Punch holes using fork. (to remove any air bubbles.)
- Spread the pizza sauce on the pizza.
- Then, sprinkle mozzarella cheese.
- Put oregano, chicken/pork/sausages/any meat pieces, pineapple pieces, onion strips, bell pepper pieces on it.
- Then again sprinkle mozzarella cheese on it.
- Next, put black olives.
- Bake it for 25-30 min 2200C. (Until it is golden color and cheese is melty.)
- After baking it, you can serve it.
